Recently Completed Walden Log Homes
Cullman, Alabama
This home was built in Cullman, Alabama, just north of Birmingham. The logs are mainly Poplar salvaged from structures in middle Tennessee, and some White Pine salvaged from buildings in Canada. It was designed to be a gathering spot for a large family and will be 3300 square feet when completed. The main room features an 18-foot vault, and exposed joists and rafters of hand-hewn beams. The windows and doors are from Kolbe and and the flooring is antique heart pine from Walden Log Homes.
