Structure #128 SOLD*

*We can renotch our existing inventory of reclaimed logs to fit
any floor plan.
This house is from an area that is home to the largest concentration of antique hewn log buildings in the world. The vast tracts of white pine timbers that spawned the lumber trade in the 18th century provided the building material of choice for the farm and town buildings of the early and mid-19th century. This is a substantial 1 ½ story building measuring 26'x 31'. The first floor height is 10 feet. The logs are well-hewn and neatly- dovetailed pine, with faces in the 12" to 15" range. Included with this house are the second floor joists (hewn) and the first and second floor flooring. We also salvaged much of the interior of this building, the doors and staircase in particular. However this material dates from an early 20th century renovation. The front façade is a typical three-bay arrangement, with a single window in a central roof gable above.
Included with each log building we sell:
· First quality "as found" drawings · Careful disassembly of the buildings so as to preserve all surviving original fabric · Loading at our end · Supervision and 'key help' with the re-assembly of the log walls · Secondary material (doors, flooring, etc.) only as noted in the individual building description
Not Included:

· Trucking costs · Boom truck or crane for unloading and re-assembly of the log walls · Additional help (two or three workers for two or three long days for the larger buildings will be needed) · Installation of any secondary materials included in the building
In addtion we can provide:

· Virtually all manner of antique building materials · Custom-built antique structure to fit any house plan
