Structure #127 SOLD

Please remember we can renotch the reclaimed logs in our existing inventory to fit any floor plan.
This log house is in many ways similar to structure #126. It was constructed in 1853, only a few miles away and likely by the same skilled crew of log builders. It also measures 26'x 36' and has logs with faces that approach the size of those in #126. It is a tall, 1 ¾ story building, with good second floor joists and roof-rafter system. It was built as a three-bay house (single window on each side of a central door), but it could be reconstructed as a five-bay house. At some point most of the original window openings were enlarged and additional openings were cut into the back wall. This house could be restored to its original openings or it could be reconstructed so as to take advantage of the larger openings
